YOU ARE THE JUDGE for the Go Loco for Local Chili Cook Off! Folks, young and old and in-between, are invited to come dressed in their Halloween costumes!
The Go Loco for Local is a fun-filled "Halloween" themed evening where business compete for bragging rights for the "BEST CHILI" and "BEST OVERALL EXPERIENCE"!
Pick up your voting ballot from participating businesses or at city hall, and start your Chili Cook-Off Experience. Voting takes place from 5:00 - 8:00 pm. Turn in your ballot and be registered to win Merchant Bucks!!
Starting around 8:00 pm, all are invited to compete in costume contests. Prizes will be awarded for the best adult and child costumes. We will finish up the evening with BINGO and prizes!

Equipment will be handed out August 1, 2018, 4:00 - 6:00 pm at Underwood City Hall
Practice will start the week of August 13th. The first game will be August 25th There will be no game September 1st. The remaining game schedule will be handed out the first week of practice.

The Underwood Civic Club launched the first annual Underwood MidSummer Classic Car Show in July 2011. Over 80 classic cars participated in the car show, which was held in Underwood’s 3-block downtown district. Other activities include a burnout contest, ugly car contest, and street dance.
Kids ages 3 years - entering 3rd grade in fall can earn a one day unlimited rides bracelet at the McLean County Fair, June 15 - 16 - 17th. Check out 10 books from the library and complete our book reports by June 13th!

The public is invited to the Underwood Civic Club's Annual Pancake & Sausage Appreciation Supper. Local businesses will be setting up booths to show off some of their services or products, and the members of the civic club will be serving up pancakes and sausage.
The Easter Bunny will be making its way to Underwood Public School for the annual Easter Egg Hunt! The hunt, which is sponsored by the Underwood Civic Club, is for children from ages zero to the 3rd grade. The event will be held in the Vonderheide Gym at the Underwood Public School. Each child who comes to the Easter Egg Hunt will receive a goodie basket, as well as the opportunity to find several eggs that contain treats.

Join NDSU Extension-McLean County for a fun evening making holiday wreaths! Choose from one of three options. Cost is $20 per person and advanced registration is required. Spots are limited to the first 20 people to register. Call 462-8541 by November 22nd to reserve your spot. Class will be held at Underwood City Hall.
